The Reno Police Department says it has arrested a suspect in a Monday attack that caused substantial bodily harm to a visitor taking part in a tournament at the National Bowling Stadium. Police say 49-year-old Dexter Lamorte Howard, was booked Wednesday in the Washoe County jail on suspicion of battery causing substantial bodily harm. Investigators say Howard attacked the bowler a little after 8:00 Monday morning in the area of North Center Street and Commercial Row. Police say the reason for the alleged attack is unknown.
