“ICE” Sweeps Arrest 87 Foreign Criminals

87 foreign nationals were arrested in Reno and Las Vegas last week, according to ICE. The five day ICE operation focused on people who pose a threat to the general public. 65 people in Las Vegas and 22 people in Reno were arrest during the operation. 20 had prior felony convictions and two were part of documented street gangs. Last week’s arrestees’ criminal histories included past convictions for drug trafficking, weapons violations, child sex offenses, and domestic violence. Four of those taken into custody were criminal aliens who now face federal prosecution for re-entry after deportation, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Any not prosecuted for crimes in the US will be deported.
