Escaped Inmate Captured in California

The walkaway inmate who is serving up to 10 years in prison for felony drunken driving has been captured. Michael David Lillie was recaptured early Tuesday, in Woodland, California. He was booked into the Yolo County Jail, charged with False Representation to a Police Officer, a misdemeanor offense in California, and is also being held on a “Director’s Retake Warrant,” from the Nevada Department of Corrections. Lillie could be facing 2 to 6 years for escape after walking away from a work crew in downtown Carson City May 11. He had been paroled once, violated the parole and ended up at the Stewart Conservation Camp in Carson City April 8.
