A suspect in an March 4 robbery is back in custody at the Washoe County jail. Kevin Clausen, 51, was booked on charges of attempted robbery and murder as well as charges of battery causing substantial bodily harm with the use of a deadly weapon and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Washoe District Court. Nancy Moreilli, the owner of the 7-Eleven at Wells Avenue and Cheney Street, was outside the store going to the bank to make a deposit when Clausen allegedly shot her. Witnesses saw him run down the road to a truck, and Reno police spotted him not long after.
