Memorial Day weekend travel means a busier than usual airport. Reno-Tahoe International expects about 12,000 passengers each day of the holiday weekend. The Transportation Security Administration will staff the Security Checkpoint starting at 4:00 a.m. and will have the Pre-Check line open for registered Pre-Check travelers. Reno-Tahoe International Airport has added eight new flights in the last 14 months, and the airlines are expected to be full or almost full this weekend. To be prepared, passengers should arrive at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled departure, in order to allow time for airline check-in and TSA security lines.
