One person died Wednesday afternoon in a shooting near Susanville, according to the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies found a white male adult who had a single gunshot wound. They attempted life-saving measures as did fire and rescue personnel when they arrived, but ultimately the man died. Authorities say the suspect took off in a vehicle that was parked on the property. The Victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
