Sparks Police and Fire have called off their search for a child reported missing at Sparks Marina. A witness reported that a child went under water while swimming at the Marina. The child is described as an 8 year old, boy with dark skin, light brown hair, and wearing a blue and black pair of shorts with a military video game design. At this time, officials have not located the child or his parents. Authorities believe the child may live near the Marina. They attempted to locate the child on the beach and nearby apartments in the event he left the water on his own, out of sight of the witness.
