After the scuffles and name calling at the Nevada Democratic convention, when Bernie Sanders supporters threatened to bring down the house over a difference of a few delegates, many wondered if Sanders would ever accept that he’s lost the race. Senator Harry Reid met with Sanders Thursday and says he thinks he has.

Nevada Senator Harry Reid says he thinks Bernie Sanders has accepted the fact the Hillary Clinton is the party’s presumptive nominee.  Reid met with the Vermont senator at the Capitol Thursday, as he tried to pull warring factions together. Reid says he isn’t pushing Sanders to do anything, and says what he does next is up to him. Reid says Sanders is “in a good place with the caucus and the country.”

Reid said he has invited Sanders to speak to the caucus next week, and spoke about how he admires Sanders vigor. Sanders says he will work with Hillary Clinton to defeat Trump in November.
