Three-term Congressman Joe Heck has won the GOP primary for Harry Reid’s U.S. Senate seat. The southern Nevada congressman and military general beat a slate that included Sharron Angle, who lost a competitive Senate race against Reid in 2010. Heck will face Democratic former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto in November. The race is expected to be one of the key races that could determine which party clinches the majority. Both were easy primary winners
