ACLU Appeals ESA Ruling

Nevada ACLU is appealing a Las Vegas judge’s ruling that the state Education Savings Accounts are constitutional.  Amy Rose the ACLU Legal Director says District Court Judge Eric Johnson made the wrong decision and evaluated the case improperly.  In May, Johnson dismissed the ACLU’s lawsuit against program called it “Neutral with respect to religion” because parents- not the state- decide whether they will use the program to pay for tuition at private and religiously affiliated schools.
