Reno Police say a man who had been sleeping at a bus stop in downtown Reno awoke to find his throat had been slit shortly after 4:00 Sunday afternoon. Police say the man had been sleeping at the old Regional Transportation Commission bus stop at 40 East Fourth Street when he was awakened. He was taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening wound. Officers found a folding knife nearby that may have been used in the assault. Investigators are looking for one of two prospective suspects, one of whom is a woman who walked by, the other is a man in the area who has been bullying homeless people.
