Tesla isn’t the only company building a Giga Factory. So is Panasonic North America, they’ll be making batteries for those cars, and they are starting to hire.  Northern Nevada JobConnect is working with Panasonic Energy, as they’ll host a June 22nd “by invitation only” hiring event for open positions. Only two positions are open now a Maintenance Tech, and as Assembly shift lead job. But John Parel, Job Connects Northern Nevada Business Services Manager, says more are coming.  Parel says get to job connect, check qualifications, apply and you may get the invitation to Wednesday’s hiring event, and keep checking back as they begin to staff up to 400 jobs, or more.
