A federal officer says a man arrested at a Donald Trump rally in Las Vegas told authorities he tried to snatch an officer’s gun so he could kill the presumptive Republican nominee. A complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Nevada charges 19 year old Michael Steven Sandford with an act of violence on restricted grounds. Sandford drove to Las Vegas from California, and went to a gun range to learn how to handle a weapon, later at a Trump rally, he grabbed the butt of an officers gun at Treasure Island.
