According to fire officials, the wildfire that was burning in the Pleasant Valley area near I-580 is now fully contained. The fire burned a total of 16 acres. Earlier estimates had the burn area at about 40 acres. Fire crews will remain on scene to monitor the burn area to make sure the wildfire does not reignite. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
