Construction is booming in Reno, but skilled laborers, are in short supply. Contractors say the increased demand is leading to higher costs and longer construction times. Now, with homes, apartments, and industrial buildings all being built, there are fewer laborers than there are jobs, and the ironic problem is, the more local housing costs rise, the harder it is to get those workers.
