A Sparks man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for lewdness charges. 19-year-old Benjamin Duran-Ruiz was sentenced on two counts of Lewdness with a Child Under the Age of Sixteen. Duran-Ruiz was given ten years in prison for each count, with parole eligibility after a minimum of four years. The sentences are set to run concurrently, and a special sentence of lifetime supervision as a sex offender will commence after he gets out of prison.
