Reno Police are looking for information about a smoke bomb set off in an apartment complex early Tuesday morning. Just after 5AM police and Reno Fire responded to an apartment complex in the 1400 block of E 9th Street, after a resident called 911 about a possible gas leak, complaining of burning eyes. Fire personnel determined there was no gas leak, but found the suspicious device in one of the apartments. Reno Police and members of the Regional Bomb Squad examined the device and determined it to be a commercial grade smoke bomb, which gave off the effects of pepper spray.
