Starting today, NV Energy’s northern Nevada residential, commercial and industrial electric customers will experience another overall electric rate decrease of just under two percent. Since March 2015, the utility has made cuts to electric bills averaging nearly 17%. Combined with the five electric price decreases experienced in April, July and October of 2015 and January and April of this year, a typical single family electric residential customer bill has gone down about $15.92 since March 30th of last year.
