Reno Police say the driver shot by officers at the Wing Fest in downtown Reno has died. Witnesses say the man failed to stop for a motorcycle officer then tried to drive through barriers into the pedestrian area of Wing Fest. Officers on both sides of the van responded by firing shots into the vehicle. Witness reports say the vehicle then crashed into a vendor’s tent. Police pulled the man out of the vehicle and immediately began administering CPR. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance where police say he was pronounced dead.
