Sparks Police are looking for a man who they say attempted to rob two local stores yesterday. The Sparks Police Department responded to a report of an attempted robbery with a knife at the Target on E. Lincoln Way. When officers arrived on scene, they learned that a Target employee attempted to stop the suspect who was pushing a cart full of store property. The suspect pulled a knife and fled the area heading north, toward the Park Vista Apartment complex. Police say a couple of hours later, they responded to the K-Mart store located at 2125 Oddie Boulevard on a similar call. If you have any information please contact police.
