The Hug High baseball team suffered a major loss last month when someone broke into the team’s storage shed and ripped off around $1500 worth of equipment from the school. Now, Washoe County School District police are trying to get the stuff back. It’s a big setback for the school. A non profit helped the team get new uniforms last year, and those were taken along with bats, balls, and other items. Police think the break in occurred sometime during the weekend of June 25th and 26th, but so far, that’s all they have to go on. If you have any tips that can help break this case, call Washoe County School District Police at 348-0285, or, if you’d like to remain anonymous, call their Secret Witness line at 329-6666.
