Crews remained on the fire overnight. The fire appears to be human-caused and an accident, the sheriff’s office said, but did not release any more information. Flames were reported around noon Wednesday. The East Fork Fire Protection District worked with Sierra Front, the Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service, as well as Douglas County. Between 10 and 20 acres of light grass and brush were burned.
