Another high tech company is coming to northern Nevada. CAEK Inc. is relocating their headquarters from Arkansas to Reno. Their software allows independent healthcare providers to meet the federal requirements of the “HIPPA” security rule, while reducing their risk of liability. The company will be investing about $636 thousand for equipment, in the first two years and plans to hire 62 employees within the first two years at an average wage of $27.52 per hour. The Governor’s Office of Economic Development board approved nearly $158 thousand in tax abatements for CAEK Inc. CAEK is estimated to generate $6.7 million in new tax revenue over 10 years.
