Police believe alcohol is involved in a rollover crash that ended with the vehicle catching fire. Just before 10:30 last night, Police say a 17 year old driver was traveling east on Wedekind Road approaching Sullivan Lane at a high rate of speed and was unable to stop at the intersection. The vehicle then struck a curb and a rock wall and continued into a construction zone, crashing through a fence and rolling over into Oppio Park. The driver was pulled out of the burning car by witnesses, and was taken to the hospital. His current condition has not been released.
