Social media in Nevada, Utah and California saw lots of posts about a small fireball streaking across the sky. A spokesman for the Fleischmann Planetarium at the University of Nevada, agrees with U.S. Strategic Command about the object many saw Wednesday night. Dan Ruby says it was “Chinese space junk” that was seen across much of the west coast.  Strategic Command says a Chinese rocket re-entered the atmosphere near California about 930 pm.
