An officer involved shooting in Sparks left one man dead following a pursuit that started near 4th and Greenbrae Thursday morning.  Several witnesses called police to report that a maroon Jeep Cherokee was traveling around 70 miles an hour the wrong way on Greenbrae Drive, and hit at least two cars before officers tracked the man down in the neighborhood of 1st and Richards.  Officers performed CPR on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identification is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
