Nearly half of Nevada voters support the state’s controversial Education Savings Accounts, according to a new poll. Support goes up to two thirds among the wealthier voters surveyed, according to Rassmussen Reports. 48% of voters favor ESA’s 37% are opposed. Among people with incomes over 200 thousand dollars support rises to 69%. ESA’s would provide about five thousand dollars per school year, to families who want to opt out of public schools and make other choices. Critics say it transfers money to religious institutions in violation of the state constitution.
