The City of Reno is launching a new special event called “GIGS on the LID.” Every Wednesday, starting today, a different local band and food truck will be in downtown Reno at lunch for your enjoyment. The event is located on the ReTRAC “lid,” near the Reno Arch between Whitney Peak and the Eldorado. The event will be held on Wednesdays between August 10th and- September 28th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., except September 21 during Street Vibrations.  Todays band is “The Novelists” The Food truck is “Codfather.”
