West Nile Found in Lemmon Valley

Washoe County has its first reported West Nile Virus incident of the year. The virus was discovered in a mosquito in Lemmon Valley, and in response the county will increase its insecticide fogging in that area. They will also continue checking mosquitoes, and increase mosquito trapping. They advise the use of repellents to avoid bites, and vaccinating horses against the disease.
