The Reno Fire Department raised $60,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association over the weekend, during the annual “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign.  That’s more than double the $28,000  raised last year. The money will help build on decades of research progress, and also helps to support MDA’s support groups, clinics and an MDA summer camp for kids with muscle disease, at Grizzly Creek Ranch in Portola, California.
