Two people killed in a crash at the intersection of Rock Boulevard and Mill Street in Reno have been identified. Reno Police say just before 8PM August 13th, a driver traveling north on Rock ran a red light, hitting a vehicle traveling east on Mill Street. The car that was hit rolled into a nearby field. Police say 30-year-old Saul Garcia and 29 year old Janeth Gonzalez-Contreras, both of Sparks, were pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle at fault crashed into a pole. Police say the driver of that car showed signs of being under the influence He will most likely face two counts of DUI causing death. His name has not yet been released.
