The body of Jacob Beetler, the hiker who went missing nearly three weeks ago near the Ruby Mountains in Elko, has been recovered. Beetler was found by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office High Altitude Rescue Team on the eastern slopes of the Ruby Mountains. 20 year old Beetler was reported missing July 29, after leaving for a day hike to scout for deer.
