Police are investigating a fatal head-on crash in Reno near the intersection of McCarran Boulevard and Mayberry Drive. It happened around 9 p.m. Monday. Investigators say 35-year-old Nicole Bonaparte of Reno was speeding with no headlights on when she crossed the median and hit another vehicle head-on. Bonaparte died at the scene. The other driver was taken to a hospital with numerous broken bones, and massive lacerations.
