A deputy is wounded and a suspect has been shot and killed, after a chase that ended at North Virginia and Stead Blvd Friday afternoon. Reno police are leading the investigation, and the Washoe County Deputy is recovering from non life threatening injuries. A passenger in the suspects car tried to run, but was quickly captured. The incident began  when the NHP tried to pull over the driver of a U-Haul van east of Sparks. The driver refused to pull over, leading to a chase that led up Highway 395 to the area of North Virginia Street and Stead Boulevard.
