The Nevada Army Guard’s 485th Military Police Company is being deployed to the Middle East. A deployment ceremony was held in Stead Thursday morning. More than 120 soldiers will be serving in and around Kuwait. The unit will train in Texas for a month before heading overseas. The 485th Military Police Company served in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2012.
