The downtown Reno arch might be getting it’s first upgrade since 1987.  New proposals, the Reno City Council will consider in September, include LED lights that can change colors, so you don’t have to change the bulbs everytime there’s a special event, and also replacing the gold skin of the arch with a more modern-looking brushed stainless steel. Assistant City Manager Bill Thomas says a community workshop will be scheduled soon to get public comment.
