Sparks police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Saturday morning. Officers responded to the apartments located at 4500 Moorpark court around 3:30 am and spoke with the victim. He said that he had just come home from work when he was approached by an adult Black Male, who demanded money, while aiming a rifle type gun at him. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim, and then ran through the apartment complex in an easterly direction. The suspect is described as a Black Male adult, 5’8″ – 5’10”, thin, wearing a black baseball hat w/ a white bandana across his face, jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.
