The RTC has partnered with The Nugget and City of Sparks to provide a safe and free transportation option for The Nugget Best in the West Rib Cook-Off. Everyone is being encouraged to park at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center (Lot C) in Reno or at the Iron Horse Shopping Center in Sparks and take a free shuttle. The Reno-Sparks Convention Center is located on Virginia Street and the Iron Horse Shopping Center is near McCarran and Prater. The shuttle service will operate from 11 am to 10 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Monday (Labor Day) the shuttle will be from 11 am to 7 pm. Due to recent development in Victorian Square where the event is taking place, 500 fewer parking spaces are available, and taking transit is highly encouraged.
