The pilot killed in a small plane crash in Sparks has been identified as 73 year old John Brown, and a passenger whose identity is being withheld also died in the crash. The plane, a Beechcraft single engine A-36 went down in the River’s Edge RV park Tuesday night, and burst into flames. No one on the ground was injured. Most of the residents have been allowed back in their homes. The National Transportation Safety Board has taken over the investigation.
