NDOW Issues Coyote Advisory

The Nevada Department of Wildlife has issued a Coyote Advisory, due to increasing conflicts between people and coyotes. N-Dow has gotten multiple reports of Coyote attacks on pets, and are urging pet owners to take steps top avoid them. They’re urging residents to remove attractants like pet food, accessible garbage, or fruit from trees. Pets and children should not be left unattended outdoors, especially at night or during dawn and dusk hours. Don’t run from a coyote, instead maintain eye contact and back away slowly, to show the coyote, you’re the predator to be feared, not the prey.
