Two men have been sentenced for a May drive-by shooting in Fernley. 21 year old Christopher Trueman pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm from a vehicle and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He has been sentenced to six to fifteen years in prison for the shooting, and two to six years for the possession. He was also sentenced on unrelated charges. 27 year old Chase Lee Hare-Bullock pleaded guilty to discharging a Firearm into a structure. He has been sentenced to two years to six years in prison, but the sentence was suspended and five-year probation instead granted. Trueman and Hare-Bullock drove by a house on Brierwood Lane and Trueman fired eight shots from the vehicle into the house, which was occupied. No one was hit, including a child in the home at at the time.
