The State of the University is good, and University of Nevada President Marc Johnson says they are working hard to become a top notch research university. And he says that work should be commercialized, and be used to create more jobs and opportunities.  President Johnson says the University has an exciting future, but will face some challenges. He says he’s hoping the legislature approves higher pay for professors, and a stronger, fairer funding formula to keep up with enrollment growth.
