Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful reports that 810 volunteers removed 46 tons of trash and invasive weeds during the annual Truckee River Cleanup Day Saturday. The cleanup covered more than 20 miles of the Truckee River and its tributaries. For the first time since 2014 the water levels were high enough that kayak teams had to clean up some of the debris.
