Western Nevada College is bringing back nursing classes to the Fallon campus. The college, working with Churchill County and the U.S. Department of Labor, is now going to have access to a 2,500 square foot laboratory about a mile from the campus. The new lab will house classrooms, a business office, and bring technologically advanced equipment to the campus for the budding nurses to train on. This saves nursing students from having to travel al the way to Carson City for their education. The nursing program ended on the Fallon campus in 2011.
