The Nevada Highway Patrol continues to investigate a crash that killed a woman on Kingsbury Grade, September 23rd. The preliminary investigation indicates 47-year-old Carrie Hilderbrand of Wellington was eastbound in a Nissan Pathfinder when she drifted over the median lines. The driver of a motor home was headed west, and was hit head on.  The Nissan spun and came to rest alongside the driver’s side of the RV. Hilderbrand, the only person in the Nissan, was killed. The driver and three passengers from the RV were hospitalized. Investigators say they don’t yet know whether Hilderbrand was impaired. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
