The NDOT project to improve exits and ramps at the I-80 Lockwood interchange will start again today for the fall construction season. The project will return with finishing work to replace bridge deck joints. The Canyon Way Lockwood exit road will be reduced to one lane weekdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. through mid-October, with a flagger directing both directions of traffic. Large semi-trucks exiting eastbound I-80 to Lockwood will be detoured to the I-80 Mustang exit, then head westbound to exit at Lockwood. No controls are scheduled on the interstate itself, only on the ramps.
