NDOT says it is ready for the heavy snow to fall. NDOT Director Rudy Malfabon says they are fully stocked and prepared to remove snow and ice and help keep state roads clear. NDOT begins annual winter preparations in August by readying more than 80 snow plows, getting salt and sand ready, and in some places spraying a liquid brine to slow down the formation of ice on roadways.
