The Sparks Police Department says it has received multiple phone calls about a suspicious person dressed like a clown. The clown was spotted in the area of Pah Rah Mountain Park, and again near the Shadow Mountain Sports Complex. One witness says the clown was holding what looked like a machete. Officials with the department say the clown is likely a prank, but they’re taking the matter seriously. If you have any information about the suspect, please contact Sparks Police. Incidents involving clowns intimidating people have been reported around the country since last summer.
