The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the killing of a Reno man near Frenchman Lake. Hunters found the partially buried body north of the lake October 2nd. Investigators moved the remains to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy. That led investigators to treat the investigation as a homicide.  The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Joshua Cottiero of Reno. The cause of death has not been released.
