Evacuees have been allowed to return to their homes, after a brush fire threatened structures in the Clear Creek Road area east of U.S. 395. No acreage estimates are immediately available, but officials say there were no reports of injuries, and no structures lost. Crews were on the scene overnight as winds were a concern. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Multiple agencies responded, including crews from the Nevada Division of Forestry, U.S. Forest Service, BLM, East Fork Fire Protection District, Central Lyon County Fire District, Carson City Fire Department, Reno Fire Department and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District.
